The smitten couple wed in 1964 and a few years later moved their family to Tully, NY. It was in Fayetteville that Dick and Connie met at a Friday night dance. After serving in the military, he worked at Cecil and Paul's Mobil Gas Service Station in Fayetteville, NY. He is preceded in death by his parents (Wilbur and Mary), siblings George Potter, Phil Potter, Thelma Mazzoli, Bob Finch and Raymond Finch.ĭick is survived by his wife of 59 years Connie (Nellenback) 6 children Annette Bizub (Mark), Brenda Biggs (Brad), Tim Potter (Mary), Rick Potter, Amanda Grover (Mel) and Liz VanMarter (Dennis) grandchildren Nathaniel, Jessica, Bradley, Travis, Rachel, Brady, Camryn, Rory and Tyler great grandchild Ryder nephews Jimmy, Donald, David and niece Mary, and a host of friends.ĭick grew up in Fabius, living with his grandparents, and worked at the Skeele Dairy farm before joining the United States Army. He was born Christmas Day, December 25, 1936, in Fabius, NY.
